It’s Almost Spring!
After a long stretch of cold, rain, hail, wind and even a little snow we finally had a beautiful, warm, sunny day today. Better yet, it’s Saturday and I didn’t have to go to work! Instead, I worked in the garden – preparing for Spring, replenishing my vitamin D and rejuvenating my soul. This photo is from a previous year. We have crocuses and daffodils in bloom, but they’re rain damaged now, so I’m looking forward to the hyacinths which will be the next of the flowers to brighten the garden.
Today Denny and I just saw our 1st Trilliums in bloom on our walk in the woods. There were 3 clusters in 3 different areas of our gorgeous woods. Also saw yellow wood violets and lots of spring beautys. Spring is definately here. Thanks Leslie for your gorgeous spring photo to help remind us what we have to look forward to. Nancy

We’re a long way from flowers of any kind!!! Gorgeous photo. You have been inspiring my card-making for the past 10 or 11 months, now perhaps I can rely on you to inspire my gardening!!! I love a gorgeous garden, but — LOL!!! My DH and boys laugh at me — everyone credits me with the flowers/garden, but in reality, they do all the work — I just make the decisions — LOL!!!
