Cuttlebutton Joy
I love this sentiment! Today I found joy in a little thing like a button. Okay, not such a little button–a big button. I found these buttons, three to a card, at Wal-Mart. They were too fun to resist! This one just happened to match my SU! Scatter Sunshine wheel. I used Cool Caribbean, a touch of Pretty in Pink and left the Chocolate Chip up to the ribbon and the button. As you can see, I finally gave in and got a Cuttlebug, too. Such a cute little thing! I was going to just highlight the embossed areas with the Vanilla Craft ink, but it didn’t look that great so I smooshed the pad all the way in, not worrying if it was a little splotchy, and then I embossed it with Vanilla EP. The look is kind of mottled, but I liked it. I then smudged it here and there with pastel chalks (Stampin’ Pastels) to give it a little blush of color. Thanks for stopping by!

That button is fabulous!!! I think I may have to head to Walmart today……hehe
Leslie this is just adorable! Love the CB embossed top panel and that button is fabulous!
Wow, perfect match with the button and wheel! I love the way you added the subtle coloring to the CB panel. Very nice card!
Wow!!! Those buttons were a fabulous find and I really love what you did with the CB background - that is so cool!!!
WOW!! That button really does match the flower in the Scatter Sunshine perfectly! The craft ink and embossing on the cuttlebugged panel looks fabulous. Love this card, Leslie! I find joy everytime I come here!
Your EB and chalked cuddlebug BG just really glows (I saw IRL). I can’t wait to try this technique. Oh Leslie, you are such an inspiration! TFS
What a fun, fun card — love your button, too!!!
