Oops, I Doodled Again!

Published by leslierich at 6:24 pm under Cards, Stampin' Up! projects

Doodle Flower 420

Another Doodle This card with the Kaleidoscope paper, watercolored on Shimmery White.  This time I stood the leaf spray upright, which took up a lot of room so I bumped it out of the panel to allow more of the background paper to show.  I hand-doodled the flower stem and sponged a little Mustard on the edges of the Saffron card base.  Those cute little flower brads are from the Paper Wishes catalog.  You can view their site online here, but the best thing to do is sign up for the catalog–it’s so fun to shop through!

This is a beauty! The paper and ribbon really look perfect together, and your coloring looks superb! Love those flower brads too.

Ok when this popped on my screen I said “WHOA LOOK AT THAT!” - always makes me giggle when a card hits me like that and I exclaim out loud. I just got that set last week and haven’t inked it yet. Guess I should be stamping instead of sitting at the computer, huh?

Really gorgeous, Leslie! Love the out of the box touch with the leaf spray. Your watercoloring is just beautiful. Linda

I have these ‘Doodle’ sets and have had such a hard time figuring out how to use them. NOW I know!!! Love love love this, Leslie.

Leslie, your watercoloring is amazing! Whenever I try to watercolor in this fashion my image winds up just looking messy, LOL :) I think I need to practice some more.

I agree with all the other comments. I especially thought the brads off set to the left was the final “perfect” touch. BTW - I chuckled and thought the title of this post was just so witty - I knew we were in for a treat! TFS!

Leslie, your doodle card is beautiful. When I first got this set at Leadership, I have to admit I was not sure the best direction to use the leaf. It just was not coming to me. I love what you did here. Debbie
