It’s About Time For Some Blog Candy, Don’t You Think?
You know how it is when you buy a new car and all of a sudden you notice that car on the road all over the place, when you’d never noticed it before? Well, I’d never heard of blog candy before I started my own blog and then I noticed it all over the place! It looks like so much fun! I just want to say “thank you for visiting”, but I guess we can call this a Grand Opening Giveaway. Okay, so I’m having my Grand Opening a month after the fact…
I went shopping for you at our LSS. I was hoping to find some cool 6×6 paper packs, but they didn’t have any (small town). Soooooo…I cut twenty 6×6 pieces of my own Kaleidoscope paper. I hardly ever see it used but it’s great double sided paper. Lots of fun, vibrant colors! Try it, you’ll like it! I’ve also included some matching Kaleidoscope accessories, WeR Memory Keepers eyelets, one yard each of two different ribbons, and some little clippie things that match the papers.
I don’t know if I’m having trouble with folks leaving comments, but I guess this is a good way to find out. Just leave a comment on this post, in answer to the question below, and I’ll do a drawing using this random number selector on Monday night, April 2nd, at 8:00 pm PST. Your odds might be pretty good (maybe)!
The burning question is: When do you do most of your gallery/blog viewing? Is it when the kids are at school and the hubby’s at work? Sneaking a peek at your desk at work? Evenings? Weekends? I’m an evening and weekend gal, myself. So, tell me, what kind of gal/guy are you? Here’s a picture of the loot:

In the evening after I get DD to bed, if DH is at work. Actually, just started checking out some of the blogs after seeing the links on SCS. And we all know that SCSers always have the best stuff!
Hmm…does all the time qualify? No…mostly during the day since my children won’t let me stamp without DD chewing the rubber off my stamps, licking the ink pads or throwing my brads all over! Cheers to you!
Congrats on the grand opening! LOL. I’m an evening and weekends kind of blog-reader! I usually start going through my regulars after I get home from work and have settled in for TV viewing and catching up online.
Oh, yummy candy you’re offering. I’m reading at 2:30a.m. - which is very common for me. I seem to be in a strange sleeping pattern right now. So, most of my blog reading is done in the wee hours of the morning.
Very nice paper!! I do my blogging whenever I get a chance. Usually I spend a few minutes before I go to work, and then I spend lots of time after work, and way too much of my weekends on the computer.
I find tamp to browse early in the morning, during nap time, and when my hubby’s out at night working!
What wonderful papers!!!!!! I usually browse just before I go to work and on weekends. Am new to this site so everything is new and exciting.
I have a 6 month-old… I do my blog reading while breastfeeding! So, pretty much, every three hours, round the clock… LOL!

My favorite time to view blogs is early in the morning (or “my time” as I like to think of it) Usually around 5:30-6:30 I make coffee (first things first!) and then view all my blogs and get some creative ideas.
Awesome blog candy. My favorite time to view blogs is also early in the morning. I tend to wake up between 5 & 6 am and put the coffee on and start browsing my fav blogs. I get so much inspiration and have learnt so much just browsing blogs. Thanks for sharing.

I do most of my blogging in the evenings after work, and after my walk. Sometimes I take a sneak peak on my lunch hour. I am pretty new to blogs myself…just created my own last week. And I think I’m still behind the learning curve.

Sweet Candy you have. I trying surfing every chance I get. I start every morning around 4:00 before work and of course after work when I walk through the door. Weeks I think I do more surfing than cleaning. It’s a great way to get your creative juices going and look at all the creative minds out there. Of my thought is only HOW DID THAT OF THAT! I check out blogs when I’m in between conf calls at work. Sometimes I have to wait on others to give me stuff, either to do or their response, so that’s when I do my check-ins.
Since I work at home, I’m always checking blogs! It’s something to do between the time I’m suppose to be working and the time I’m getting something done! Love you blog and I do check it all the time!! Love to ya!

I like to try and jump online and check everyone’s blogs as early in the morning as possible. Since my little one keeps me pretty busy it usually turns out to be a “on again off again” thing throughout the day. Not much help am I? lol

Awesome blog candy! Since I work from home most of the time I am an all day kind of blog reader. I use the Google Reader and it updates the blogs all day so I check several times a day.

Wow!!! Some great candy!!! I’d love to win!!! I surf at all different times. My LEAST amount of surfing happens on the weekends. Too busy with the kids and their activities. I TRY and limit myself to an hour at a time and no more than once a day (although I don’t always follow my own rules.) I love visiting everyones sites and getting inspired by their creations. I don’t have a blog but I am really thankful to those who take the time to do it. Keep up the good work!!!

Um I am very very very bad and I tend to do my viewing all the time and especially when I shouldnt like now when I should be putting sunday lunch on the table!!!
My blog-viewing varies depending on which day of the week it is. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday it’s usually in the evening because I have morning classes, and the rest of the time it may be morning or evening provided I have any time to read blogs at all.

I do most of my blog surfing in the morning, with a nice cuppa joe. I consider it my “newspaper reading” time! Then sometimes I’ll check them in the afternoon during naptime.

I usually blog check in stages since I have so many bookmarked… I check my friend’s blogs in the morning, other blogs in the afternoon and the rest in the evening.

Hi Leslie, I read my blog updates I get by email (via feedblitz) every a.m. or try to while my 3 yr old and 15 mon old are running around, eating breakfast and watching PBS.
I’m so addicted but I seriously need to ‘curb’ my blog addition! lol It seems to take me longer and longer. Not to mention my DH doesn’t understand at all hehehe.

I do most of my blog viewing in the morning after the kids leave for school, and then any chance I get throughout the day! I have to be careful, because I swear my computer is like a magnet! I could sit there all day if I let myself!!!

I am also an evening/weekend blog checker. Although, if my morning getting ready is ahead of schedule, I sometimes check then too.
My blog/gallery browsing time is between 1 p.m.–2:30 p.m. I work in the mornings, then come home and fix lunch for my hubby–he comes home almost every day for lunch. After he leaves, it’s computer time. Then I go pick up kiddies from school and get them snack and start thinking of dinner. I might get a chance between there to make a card, but sometimes life just gets in the way, LOL!! :o) Awesome candy!!
Oh, I am a new blogger too, but definitely addicted! I cruise through my blog list every morning and see what treasures others have posted.

That is some WONDERFUL blog candy!!! I would say I do most blogging after work. I teach so it is impossible to do any blogging from work. Plus, most of these fantastic sites are blocked. Imaging that! I also blog in the mornings if I am ready early and all weekend long!
Whenever I can get some “ME” time, I’m blog-hopping. I don’t care when it is, as long as I can get some hopping done at least once a day. Am I addicted to blogs??? I don’t think there is such a thing…is there?!

I should spend more time stamping and less time looking at everyone else’s creations. I do my blog looking all day long, minutes at a time! Whenever my kids aren’t screaming, fighting or crying. Which probably equals 2-3 minutes, 10 times a day! Congrats on your grand opening! Maybe someday I will have a blog of my own, probably after my kids (4 and 2 1/2) are grown. By then, blogs will probably be a thing of the past!
I can be found peeking in on the “blog-world” most every evening, and often in the wee hours of the morn since I do not sleep well. The bad thing about that is that I tend to stay up when I really should try to go back to sleep. I might look in during my lunch hour, but being a teacher doesn’t give me much time to sit at a computer and surf.
BUT…. only 30 more school days and I can look in any time I want for 3 whole months! Hope I get some stamping done, too!

gee, a question. that means i have to think, and i’m really tired. okay…my most consistent time to cruise is first thing in the morning. after hubby is off to work and son is off to school, i get my bowl of cereal and sit down and check out everything before i start my chores. i do often check in again during the day if i need to sit and rest a few minutes here and there. and often late at night before i hit the sack…or in the middle of the night if i wake up and can’t get back to sleep. holy cow! i AM on here all the time.

I tend to look at blogs in the morning when we first get up. My little girl is never ready for breakfast right away so she plays while I look at blogs and then when we are both ready we go and eat.

I have horrible insomnia so I do the blogging surf at 3 AM. I read over 150 of them and am adding a few more per week. Maybe I should actually post to my own once in a while-I tend to craft/stamp and check back online every other card, so I am a nervous blog reader too. And I dont even use caffeine.
Pretty much all the time. I’m a terrific multi tasker.. If I’ve got one window open on my computer for work, chances are I’ve got another open for stamping.. Luckily I work from home so I can surf when ever I want…
