Finally, I Stamped
It seems like it’s been a long stretch since I posted anything. Or maybe it’s just been a long week. At any rate, I wanted to post something girly tonight to celebrate the end of the work week.
Speaking of celebrations, there’s sure been a lot going on over at Splitcoast this week! If you’re a Fan Club member perhaps you’ve been participating in the Dare to Get Dirty challenges. Everyone’s getting dirty with the Dirty Girls! Gosh, I wonder how much spam I’ll attract with that comment? I’m hosting a challenge that will launch, along with three others, at 9:00 Saturday morning. I hope you’ll have time to play! I’ve got a hair appointment at 9:00 in the morning and I just found out I’ll have a house guest this weekend, too, so I’ve got to get my grocery shopping done first thing. There’s always something! But as soon as possible I’ll be checking in on the fun.
For this card I used several of my new SU! favorites: Priceless, the Happiness background, and Basic Gray and Purely Pomegranate ink and cardstock. I so love these swirls and all the pretty images in the Priceless set! The heart hangs from the swirls with silver cord and a brad. I used the word window punch on “Priceless”, stamped the word again, cut out the “P” and glued it over top to bump it out. The polka dot paper is from the Palette o’ Prints pad and the ribbon is “Flirty”. There’s a bit of Pixie Pink cardstock there to brighten up the layers, too.
Well, this was the bright spot of my day. I hope you’ll have a wonderful weekend and maybe I’ll see you at Splitcoast tomorrow!

This is so beautiful! I really love the heart hanging from the brad!! I never even considered getting the Happiness background stamp, but I think it may be going on my wish list now. It looks great! Thanks for the inspiration!

I have been trying to do some of the “dirty challenges”, but I just can’t keep up with all of those speedy and terrific stampers. (Wish I could). I want to do your challenge though…maybe later when the kids go to bed.

How sweet is this?! I love the new Basic Gray color, too. A nice deep gray that really showcases an image without being as harsh a black can sometimes be. Great card!

I love it. Priceless was the first set I ordered from the new catalogue. My Happiness stamp is on the way. I love those flirty ribbons and how you used that pink one! Hanging Heart looks so great! I thought that was Bayou Blue at first glance. Neat to see what the basic grey looks like. I am gaga over how you used the word window as i was trying to make a card with the words from this set and just couldn’t think outside the punch. You are too much. Get the smelling salts cause i am gonna swoon. We have similar tastes but I still have so much to learn. Thanks for again inspiring us.

OMGoodness this is darling! I LOVE the new colors. Honestly in the catalog they did’t do much for me, but seeing them in use is just WOW! I LOVE these new stamps! Great job Leslie!
