It’s That Time of Year Again

Published by leslierich at 4:07 pm under Garden

Does it look like she hasn’t been used in a while?

Mar08 Wheelbarrow at Rest

Poor thing.  She looks downright abandoned, like an old car gone to ruin in the weeds.  But she started up just fine and went to work today.  The old girl’s still got some life in her.

Gorgeous flower! My ol’ gal (not so old) is red and full of palm branches and such, lots of cutting going on! Deb

I just wanted to let you know that as much as I love and am inspired by your art work, I also enjoy your garden photos. I am obsessed with gardening (AND STAMPING, SCRAPBOOKING, QUILTING…) and I just knew you had to live in the northwest to have gardens like yours. I’m in the midwest and have to contend with summer droughts and heat. I would love to see more of your yard. Thanks, Cindy

Whoopie - Love your garden!! Echoing the comments of Cindy above from hot and humid Pearl City, HI.

Gorgeous flower! I love your writings about your garden, too. Great pictures. Thanks for sharing.

How nice to share a little bit of your beginnings of the new gardening season. The Trillium photo is exquisite. I sure hope this old girl still has some life in her when we have to start our gardening and yard chores! Linda

Oh, that’s not fair! I had some tulips popping out by the side of the house, but we had another 6 inches of snow here in Minnesota, so now it will be a while before I see anything like this.
Love your garden photos as much as your blog! You are such an inspiration for me. Thank you for all that you share!

Yay! It’s that time of year again…for garden pics. Looks like you were hard at work.

Beautiful photos, especially the flower. Can’t wait for things to green up here in New Jersey!

Wow, that flower is amazing! I hope you get to work in your garden to your heart’s content this spring, Leslie — can’t wait to see your efforts!

    Hi Leslie,
What is the flower? I am a gardner and love new flowers. What is your location? Wonder if it will grow in my garden?

I love your photographs! Happy gardening!

Gorgeous photos, I was wondering what kind of camera you use, I looked your blog over for the answer but I didn’t see it any where. You’re so lucky to see green in your garden, mine is snow and muck for another month at least as I live in Nova Scotia, Canada!

This flower is gorgeous! I have never seen flower (lily?) like this before!
Should it be a stamp! lol

Your garden and cards are breath taking! :D

Jealous, jealous!!! We got about 10″ of snow last night!!! Our school is off for spring break, but those surrounding us got even more snow and all are cancelled!!! But the sun is shining now!!! Please continue to post your garden pics — I surely love them — they inspire me so — I do not have a naturally green thumb, as much as I wish I did!!!! Love seeing your gardens!!!

Your trillium photo is gorgeous, and reminds me of my mom - her favorite flower (or at least one of them, I guess she’d say daisies are her favorite). They also grow wild in Michigan and we’d love to stumble across them while walking in the woods behind my grandparents’ home.
