Coloring Today Postponed
Hello! I’m just checking in for a minute to say Coloring Today has been postponed due to lack of time. I had a busy weekend and I knew I wouldn’t have time to do a tutorial, but I had a card to share… well… then along came one of those bad headaches I get occasionally. All things considered, I decided to take a sick day and didn’t even photograph the card. I’m feeling better now — just in time to go to work.
So… I’ll just share photo I took the other day in the garden — another busy bee. Looks like she’s just resting for a minute. Maybe she had a headache, too.
Tomorrow I’ll be back with that card and next Monday there will be a Coloring Today post. Be well and I’ll see you again soon!

Great photo! I’ve never seen a Lady’s Mantle before, or a black bee! The green petals with the yellow center is actually the flower, right? The individual flowers look like a quilt square - interesting:) Thanks for sharing!
What an amazing photo!! Just beautiful. So sorry about your headache - glad you’re feeling better today.
Beautiful pic!! Looks like a great ‘inspiration challenge’ to me!!!
Wow! Incredible pic! I just shot one of an all black bee in my garden this weekend too - I’d never seen one before! Hope the head is better - there is nothing worse than a terrible headache! :o)
Oh, hope you are feeling better, Leslie!!! And I must say, your garden photos are beyond compare — amazing!!!
Oh I do hope your headache subsided quickly. I’m so sorry to hear you were under the weather. I look forward to your next Coloring Today issue when ever you’re back up for it.
What a beautiful garden picture! So restful for the eyes and the soul. Hope you get feeling better and have a great week!
so glad you’re feeling better. i love your garden photo. it’s interesting too, because i’ve never seen a black bee around here like the one in your pic. have a great week, leslie!
Sorry about your headache, but I’m glad you’re feeling better!! Fabulous photo too!!
Hi - new to your blog and have really enjoyed looking around - you do very beautiful work.

Ah, so sorry you had a headache. Love this photo! What kind of camera do you have? It’s an amazing photograph…so close up and detailed! Beautiful!
I wake up with really nasty headaches once in a while too. I find that the only thing that works is to take 2 advil and 1 tylenol and go back to bed for a while. I usually wake up feeling much better. A friend of mine says that her RN sister said to never mix advil and tylenol together, but I never got an answer why. My dentist gave my husband the recipe of 3 advil and 2 tylenol for dental pain, so I dont know why one profession would say one thing and someone else another. Anyway, give it a try if you like..
Great picture! Oh I hope you are much better very soon! Deb
Now I know why your card photos look so good–you are a photographer! I’ve been trying to photograph mine and they just don’t look right. You can’t see some of the colors or detail…very nice. I love your blog and check it frequently!

Leslie, this picture totally captures nature at its best! Amazing, I just love it! I’m not sure about the bee’s headache, but I kept one all last week. Thank goodness that’s behind me.
Leslie,
I love your website! I was wondering if you suffer from migraines. I suffer from migraines and found that a prescription called Maxalt from my doctor works wonders! It took several years and lots of trials with meds to find this one that works. Now my headaches are somewhat under control. I thought you might like to ask your doctor about this. Hope this helps you.
Just had to comment on your awesome photo of the bee.
