It Just Doesn’t Matter
When I’m Marvin’s age, will I suffer indignities with such patient resolve?
Poor, tolerant Marvin. I don’t know how long he walked around with this leaf skeleton stuck to his nose before he showed up at the patio door. Perhaps he noticed it when he emerged from his woodland critter path and thought, “Oh, they’ll love this…I’ll just leave it for their entertainment.” And we were quite entertained as he went about his usual kitty activities, feigning indifference — “What leaf? I don’t see a leaf.”
I’m sure he won’t mind my sharing the photo. Marvin’s got a sense of humor, even though I realize he does not look amused.
As you may have guessed, my internet is working again, thanks to modern marvels. While it was down I decided, rather than fret, I would be more like Marvin – it just doesn’t matter. It all worked out just fine.
I’ll be back with stamping again soon. I got such a smile out of this photo, I thought maybe you might enjoy it, too. Have a great day!

Love Marvin.
Oh Marvin is a cutie!! I’m glad your internet troubles are all sorted out now!!
Poor poor Marvin. The humiliation of it all! Personally, I think he ws enjoying his new “jewelry”.
Oh, this is too funny. Reminds me of something Bandit would do (my rat terrier)
Poor Marvin! I am glad you relieved him of his extra appendage!

Thaks for a good laugh…poor Marvin!!
Oh that is too funny, I have had mine come back in with spider webs on their face and alot of stuff stuck to their tails but this is too funny, I am surprised it stayed there!
Maybe he was saving it to snack on later…either way, he doesn’t look too amused at having this photo taken!
What a precious portrait! Nice dose of lighting and shadows from the sun too. I appreciate a lot of things animals teach us, especially how to live in the moment. Linda
Great lesson from Marvin the patient cat. Why is it that cats seem to photograph more easily than cards?
Maybe posing a card with a cat………hmmmm. Glad you’re back up and running.
LOL, oh, poor guy! What a sweet kitty…and beautiful, too!
I could NEVER live without my cats! They are the most wonderful creatures…
Have a GREAT day! and a love pat to Marvin from me!
What a cute photo! Marvin looks like such a sweet fluffy kitty. Sounds like he is a wise kitty too. Thanks for the reminder that some things in life aren’t worth fussing over. I needed that this a.m.
Marvin is just adorable and the fact that He looks so indifferent to the leaf hanging off his nose is hilarious.
I might add that his leaf was much better then what our Snickers had hanging off her rear yesterday (yeah lets not go there) and believe me it is hard to touch that “sacred” part of her body without getting chewed to pieces. No photo opts there for sure!
Leslie,
Absolutley love the photo of Marvin. He looks beautiful or should I say handsome. Aren’t animals such a joy! As you said they really amuse us. I have a Havanese dog names Maggie who I just love and on Sunday, I will be getting another Havanese to make Maggie a sister. I can hardly wait. How giving these pets are without being aware of what pleasure they convey……Hooray for Marvin..
Leslie this photo made me grin from ear to ear. My pups walk around with leaves stuck to their beards and tails all the time. How funny!
Dear ‘Ole Marvin…….what a character. Glad you are back. We leave shortly for Washburn State Park on the gorgeous Oregon Coast and…….it is suppose to be sunny and in the 60′s today
When I get back Leslie I will have your catty and orders……….REALLY!!!!!! Happy Stamping, nancy
Leslie, this is such an adorable picture
Marvin almost looks like he’s thinking ‘Mum… how could you’…….. so glad you’re back up and running! Was wondering how i would manage without my daily fix……..but now you’re back
Hugs….and one for Marvin!

Marvin brought a huge smile to my face!! Thanks for that, Leslie!!
First let me say, I think Marvin is so handsome – his coloring is gorgeous! That being said – this photo is soooo funny. Maybe you should consider entering it in a photo contest, or even submit it to a rubber stamp magazine – a little sub-title could be *Of course I was napping in the woodlands. Who could sleep around here with a heat embossing gun roaring, eyelets snapping in place and the zip, zip, zip of the paper cutter*.
Thanks for sharing.
Sweet picture! At least it was just a leaf he brought in!
What a cute photo and kitty. Glad you are back online! tfs
OMG Marvin is one handsome cat!! That is a great photo! Thanks for sharing!
Oh what a cutie! I needed a smile today! Thank you you Marvin!
Leslie, I just had to comment. This is so cute! My kittie, Scooter, carries in Azalea leaves and drops them all over my house. What’s a mom to do? She’s a long haired mutt cat and brings in just about everything, including “gifts” I’d rather she leave behind . . . LOL! I’m sure you treasure Marvin as much as I treasure Scooter. We’ve had her twelve years and we all fret over her like she’s one of the family.
Poor Marvin, he looks so embarrassed! NOT! He’s a sweet looking guy and I know how kitties like to bring home special treats to their *parents* to show them how much they love you!!
Too funny!!
HA!!! Love him!! How could he stand it!?
Adorable. Love those furry toes
This picture brouht a smile to my face! Thank you Leslie! I think may be we should be like our cats sometimes…
Glad you internet is back!
We learn a lot from our cats, too; especially patience. Marvin looks like a wonderful pet. TFS!
Oh my word this is hillarious, I am just cracking up laughing!!!! Thanks for the laughs Marvin!
