A Little Pun Fun
I made this card for a coworker who likes skunks and yellow. This being a Valentine, I went mellow on the yellow but I think it’s perfect for her. The sentiment is so darn cute, I can’t help but love it!
The papers are more of my new SU! Candy Lane and the skunk is from the Pun Fun set. I colored him (her?) with markers and made mats with my Spellbinders dies. There’s a little blush of Pink Pirouette sponged around the edges of the heart mat. I found the cute ribbon at my local scrapbook store and used it and the rhinestones for the finishing touches.
I’m determined to use up all or most of this Candy Lane paper before it retires. That would be a first for me, but I think it’s do-able. The patterns are not exclusive to Valentines…they’re quite versatile, really.
Well, I’ve got some other irons in the fire so I must be off. It’s the middle of the work week and time is short — I need to talk less and do more! I’m so glad you could stop by for this brief visit. I really do appreciate your time and I hope to be sharing more before the week is over. See you again soon!
- Stamps: Pun Fun (Stampin’ Up!)
- Paper: Close to Cocoa, Pink Pirouette, Whisper White, Candy Lane designer paper
- Ink: Palette Noir, Pink Pirouette, markers for coloring
- Accessories: Ribbon, rhinestones, Spellbinders dies, word window punch, Scotch brand foam mounting tape

Too cute Leslie ~ I have always wondered about DP and if it every goes out of style…I have tons of SU DP and ribbon…Too bad, but I am still gonna have to use it, cause it cost me
Hi Leslie…. What a cute card…. Hope all is well with you!
Hi Leslie, I want to take this opportunity to thank you for being an inspiration to me. There is an award awaiting you on my blog.
This is an adorable card! You have a good imagination.
This card is adorable and I am sure she will love it. I know yellow can be a bit over powering so you were smart in toning it down…lol. Hope you get a lot accomplished and TFS.
