Previewing Baby Love

I’ve been on the lookout for a new baby set with images different from anything I already have, so I was very pleased to learn Flourishes has included this set, called Baby Love, with their August releases.

Awwwwww, I love baby cards, and this set has several great images which can be mixed and matched in a number of ways and they all come out just as sweet as can be.  For this card I stamped the rocking chair in Pink Pirouette and did the coloring with soft chalks before I stamped the verse over it in Chocolate Chip.  The Teddy bear was colored with the browns of the Copic Flesh Tones Collection 2.  The papers are all retired Stampin’ Up!

    Oh, I LOVE this new stamp set and your darling little card! The rocking chair softly stamped beneath the touching sentiment is just as cute as can be! I love the soft colors and warm, cozy feel of this fabulous little card!

    Oh my Leslie !!! This is just so adorable! I love baby cards and, once again, Flourishes has come up with another winner!! Anyone would love to receive this…heck, I would frame it!! Put it on my desk at work and have people come in and I could tell them…Hey, the Great Leslie Miller made this beautiful work of art! Then I would be in real trouble, and so would you. Of course then you could stop working your full time job and become rich and famous… I had better stop before I put you to sleep :)

    This is just precious Leslie! I really love how you used the rocking chair as a muted background for the verse. Great designer paper choice too!

    This is so perfectly sweet and I love how you used the poem, the chair and bear, without the card being over done, it really just flows so nice. The ribbon and button are the cherry on top for me. Beautiful card Leslie
