The flora is Oriental lilies in my garden. The fauna is, of course, Wally. He’s been in our family for a week now and it’s as though we’ve always been together. I don’t think he misses his siblings at all. Today he had his second play date with his 11 week old yellow lab friend, Magnum. They get along famously. Magnum, being especially sweet natured, brought Wally a stick to play with on their first visit. Today, he brought a bigger stick.

What an adorable “baby”! We have had 2 Goldens in our home, and a batch of Golden puppies once…my sister still has hers, though she is an “oldie “goldie”….I did post a picture of the puppies awhile back on my blog, it hangs in my stamp room. Goldens are just the best! Our Nick passed away 3 years ago, we now have a Golden Doodle…half golden and half poodle, she has the best of both worlds, and I just read an article that in the top five most intelligent dogs, the Goldens and Poodles are in there…so enjoy your “boy”…they are the most gentlest, loving dogs…I’m jealous…haha…but I do LOVE our Doodle…she’s a sweetie…I could look into her eyes everyday and see right into her soul! The lilies are beautiful and Wally is adorable! I have 2 pups that we adopted from the pound (8 years old now) and they are spoiled rotten. Have fun with him!
Leslie he is just adorable. He just screams HUG ME… hee hee Oh darling darling… Now is the lab yours also or a friends? That flower is awesome, we can’t grow those here too hot and humid, but your wet lands are perfect to grow those. :0)

OMGosh, Wally is such a charmer! He’s just soooo adorable!!
Your lilies are gorgeous! Several years ago we had lilies but a foreign beetle (Asian, I think) totally destroyed them. There were no sprays that would kill them, they had to be caught with tweezers and dumped into a liquid with soap or oil, not sure which, but in anycase we just couldn’t keep up with them so we let them win:(

Isn’t it fun to watch dogs play, especially when one is a puppy. Our son’s new puppy, Harley, a yellow lab, spends a lot of time here. She has brought new life to our very old black lab/dalmation mix mutt, Precious! Oh, the energy in a puppy!!!
