Fresh as a Daisy

Published by leslierich at 6:10 pm under Cards, Flourishes

ETA:  Originally posted on Sept. 25.  There is strange stuff going on with this post.  It’s another disappearing and reappearing post.  I know some of you have been kind enough to comment on it, though there were difficulties in accomplishing that.  Just now, I found it in my drafts, as though it had never been posted yet.  Odd.  I’m going to post it again and hopefully get it out of my hair.  I wonder what will happen when I hit the “go button”?  Well… let’s try it…  So sorry for the duplication.  Thank you!

I could make all my card designs, from now on, exactly like this and be perfectly happy doing it… but, there’s another part to this story.  You can, if you like, scroll down to see this card’s recipe.  However, I hope you’ll join me on the Flourishes Newsletter for the thoughts behind this card as well as another very different card with the same set.

I’ll meet you there in a minute!

This is simply stunning! I’ve kept it in my “INSPIRATION” file on my computer - you should feel honored btw because only the cards that make me “gasp” make it into that file. LOL!!!!

If I could color like you I would be happy for life!! Leslie this is incredible. Plus I have such a weakness for ovals… This put me right over the top in love!

(This is the third time I’ve tried to post, Leslie. It just sorta goes to nowhere. So if this shows up three times in your comments… I’m so sorry! lol)

I absolutely love this card! The simplicity of the design and the gorgeous flowers just pops right out and looks sooo pretty! I’ve tried to figure out how you embossed only the one section of the cardfront and not the ends of it?. Also, I’ve been trying to figure out where you used the foam mounting tape and I’m assuming it’s under the Nestie oval? Really do love this! TFS

This is a beautiful card, and I wouldn’t mind if it did pop up several times but I only got it once! I am so glad it came thru.

This is so lucious! The colors on the flowers are so vibrant, and the embossing looks outstanding here. That gingham ribbon bow is perfect for this. Love it. Linda
