Fall Flowers on White

Published by leslierich at 9:53 pm under Cards

Hello!  I’m back with Fall Flowers today and a clean and simple card which doesn’t look much like fall at all.  We’re moving ever closer to Christmas and, as always, the fall season has been shortened when it comes to cardmaking.  I certainly do need to get busy with more Christmas cards, but I like to step away to something different once in a while, too.  Flowers are welcome in my stamp room any time!

The sentiment I used is from Fall Quotes — so pretty and not at all restricted to fall themes.  One can never have too many sentiments (how many times have my friends heard me say that?).   I colored the flowers with Prismacolor markers in Deco Yellow, Burnt Ochre and Dark Brown, and dressed up the card base with my new Stampin’ Up! embossing folder, Elegant Bouquet.  Simple and satisfying.  I hope you enjoyed!  I’m so glad for your visit.  You are sincerely appreciated.  Have a wonderful day!

Stamps:  Fall Flowers, Fall Quotes (FireCracker Designs by PamelaPaper:  Classic White, Whisper White  Ink:  Memento Rich Cocoa, Chocolate Chip, Prismacolor markers for coloring  Accessories:  Polytwill ribbon, Stampin’ Up! elegant Bouquet embossing folder, Spellbinders scallop circle nesties, 1 3/8″ circle punch, Scotch brand foam mounting tape

I just love the pop of yellow (what pretty flowers!) on the white…and I love how you’ve used the sentiment amoung the embossing. Awesome placement!

Simply beautiful! I love how the embossing is on an angle on only half the front. Had to run over to Stampin’ Up’s site to find the embossing folder to figure out how you did it!! As always, I’m so thankful for the amazing work you do!! We can tell it comes from deep within you! TFS!

What a marvelously beautiful card!! I LOVE white on white on white! I also love the way you used the same flower for each circle, but cut them out differently - just the perfect touch.
