Isn’t this a beautiful card? Oh, my goodness, I have to say it certainly is! I received this from Linda N., known to many by her Splitcoaststampers username, LSN. She just started a blog in May and when you’re done admiring this card you may want to check out Stamping in the Moonlight. She’s recently made some gorgeous acetate cards that will inspire you to do the same!
There are so many things I love about this card and there’s so much to learn from it. She used the beautiful On Gossamer Wings set I’ve neglected and she put glitter on the flowers. You can see it just a little in the photo. Now where did I put that cool Tsukineko glue pad? She even included a beautiful butterfly and now that I know I can color a Swallowtail, I might have to use this set more. There’s a dreamy Versamark resist background behind the main image and Linen on the Olive card front. Linda, did you know pink and green is one of my favorite color combos? I absolutely love how the fold adds so much to the design, too.
Thank you, Linda! Your card has become part of my dining room decor and it really dresses up the room!

I have two posts today because I wanted to share this card that Libby @ Libby’s Little Addiction sent me. I wish you could see it IRL. She has a picture of it on her blog that you can click on for a close up. I haven’t figured out how to do that yet unless I post a thumbnail. The pattern on the background paper is outlined in gold glitter and I just love the way she did the edge with the scalloped border, ticket corner punch and brads. Thank you, Libby! This is truly beautiful!
But that’s not all…she remembered I’d mentioned in one of my posts that I loved Marvelous Magenta and wished I’d gotten a full pack of that color. Well, she sent me several sheets of Marvelous Magenta. But that’s still not all…she also sent me several lengths of Martha Stewart ribbon. Libby, you are one very special person! I’m so glad we’ve become friends!

You know Rose Ann, don’t you? She posted this card recently on her blog, Paper Delightz, and when I left a comment about how much I loved it little did I know that it would wind up in my mailbox! Thank you, Rose Ann! Isn’t it just pure delight? I love how she combined this piece of Petals & Paisley paper with the punched flowers, the scallops and the Cuttlebugged background. I have this fun embossing folder, but I’ve been so lax about using my Cuttlebug. I’ll have to do something about that.
Rose Ann has posted several more great designs since this card, so it’s worth the trip to hop on over there and take a look. She’s an awesome stamper as well as a very nice person. She found my blog when I first started it and she’s been supportive and kind right from the beginning. I love RAKs and this one sure made my day!

They’re back for one more card because when I rolled out the wheel and cut my piece for my other card, Cats in a Row, these guys were left over on the end. I can’t help myself–I love these cats! I wish I had the set that goes with this wheel! They fit perfectly inside the frame of this sei Foxy Epoxy sticker which I wrote about in my Scattering More Birthday Sunshine post. I’m doing pretty good! I used up a scrap and I used another sticker! This is the SU! Treehouse paper with Cranberry Crisp and Bordering Blue cardstock. The cats are colored with Really Rust and So Saffron markers. I used the Creamy Caramel marker to shade the Saffron cat and the Chocolate Chip marker to shade the Really Rust cat. The sentiment is stamped in Cranberry and punched out with the 1 1/4″ circle punch to make the little tab. The flowers on the scalloped strip are from Background Basics; they’re stamped in Buckaroo Blue. All supplies except the sticker and the ribbon are from Stampin’ Up!.
I’d also like to share two RAKs I received this week! The card on the left is from Adelina Starace. She used a Papertrey butterfly and some of the Kaleidoscope paper she won in my blog candy giveaway. ALERT! She’s doing blog candy right now and it looks like some great stuff! Thank you, Adelina!
The card on the right is from Dawn Vinson, dvinson on Splitcoast Stampers. I don’t have this Stampin’ Up! set, but it sure looks cute on this card! Love this pretty combination of colors. Thanks, Dawn!
RAKs are such a wonderful way to perk up someone’s day. I’ve got several waiting to go out. Just need to look up those addresses! Thank you all for stopping to visit a while. Have a great day!
